Identification Numbers
Unique identification numbers are stamped on the car, the engine and the transmission case. They are used to identify your particular car.
📝 Note: When communicating with your dealer, always quote the car and engine numbers of your vehicle.
Location of car part numbers
| Car part | Number location |
|---|---|
| Car number | Located on a plate mounted between the radiator and the left-hand wing valance. |
| Engine number | Stamped on a metal plate fixed to the right-hand side of the cyclinder block. |
| Transmission casing assembly number | Stamped on a facing provided on the casing just below the starter motor. |
